Smart +2 Product Warranty Policy
We recommend that you keep your original product packaging if possible. In the unlikely event that you require a warranty repair and you do not have the original packaging, you will bear the responsibility for safely packaging your Product for transport and TimeTec Cloud Sdn Bhd accepts no liability for any damage that may occur in transit. "Customer" shall be used to identify name of Subscriber affixed to face of Contract and "Company" shall apply to TimeTec Cloud Sdn Bhd.

The Company provides the warranties and product support set out in these Terms and Conditions in relation to Products offered and supplied by TimeTec Cloud Sdn Bhd from the website.

Smart +2 Product Warranty is an extended 2 years one-to-one replacement warranty policy. To be entitled to this Smart +2 Product Warranty, the customer needs to pay additional 20% of the sum of total purchase (before tax). By adding this Smart +2 Product Warranty, the Standard Product Warranty (1 year) that comes together with the purchase will be converted to one-to-one replacement warranty policy (1 year), which means the customer will be entitled to total 3 years (36 months) one-to-one replacement warranty with the terms below:

For the avoidance of doubt:
The Company makes no representations or warranty in relation to the existence, non-existence, validity, availability, terms or conditions of any other warranties or product support that may or may not be offered or provided by the manufacturer of the Product; and

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Malaysian Consumer Law. The warranties and product support that we offer and provide pursuant to our Terms and Conditions are in addition to the consumer warranties and guarantees under the Malaysian Consumer Law.

WARRANTY TERMS

1. COVERAGE

1.1 This TimeTec IoT Products Smart _2 Product Warranty service contract (“Smart +2 Warranty”) provides for the replacement of the Product purchased by you if found to be defective during the term of three (3) year(s) from the date of purchase. When the Product failure occurs due to an electrical or mechanical defect, You will receive a brand new replacement product of like kind, quality and value. Once the Product has been replaced, the Contract will automatically terminate. This means that, the Product will have a total warranty of three (3) year(s) stated from the date of TimeTec Sales Invoice/Receipt of the Product, subject to payment of the applicable fee for the Smart +2 Warranty selected.
  • the applicable Warranty period, commencing on the date of delivery of the Product. Where there is no proof of delivery, this date will be assumed to be 3 business days from the date of dispatch of the Product.

  • 2. Proof of purchase (invoice or paid Order confirmation) must be provided when requesting service under Warranty.

    3. PRODUCT ELIGIBILITY

    This Smart +2 Warranty may only be purchased upon purchase of a Product and only covers a Product which:
  • Is purchase new from TimeTec Mart;
  • In manufactured for the use in Malaysia; and
  • Is limited to domestic and personal use.


  • 4. Where Products are already faulty or damaged upon delivery, photographic evidence of the damage must be submitted to The Company via email before the Product will be repaired or replaced in accordance with these terms.

    5. SUBMISSION OF REPLACEMENT CLAIM:

    5.1 It shall be a term of this Smart +2 Warranty that in event of a breakdown that may give rise to a claim for replacement under this Smart +2 Warranty, the Product covered under this Smart +2 Warranty must be presented to any authorized TimeTec HQ or Reseller within the Smart +2 Warranty coverage period and in any case, within fourteen (14) days of the happening such event.

    5.2 The customer can also send the faulty product by courier delivery and the delivery fee will be borne by the company. The delivery of replacement unit will be borne by the company to any location within Malaysia.

    5.3 For all Replacements, the TimeTec Sales Invoice/Receipt for the Product must be presented.

    5.4 Consult your manufacturer’s instructions to determine if the failure to operate is due to circumstances that may be corrected by yourself. If the breakdown is not covered by this Smart +2 Warranty or if the Product is found to be non-defective, the Product will be returned to You.

    5.5 If The Company is replace the Product, the customer will be provided with credit for TimeTec Mart or may be refunded the price of the Product (at TimeTec Cloud Sdn Bhd’s election). This credit or refund will be for the amount of the purchase price of the Product excluding the associated Delivery Cost.

    6. In the event that a replacement, refund, or store credit is provided as per section 5.5, the faulty item will become the property of The Company.

    7. The Customer is responsible to inspect all goods received from The Company upon arrival. In instances where goods have been damaged in transit, the Customer must report this to The Company within 3 days of receipt of the product. Failure to report physical damage on arrival within 3 days of receipt may result in denial of warranty for physical damage.

    8. Warranty of products purchased from www.timetecmart.com do not apply:

  • to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;

  • to cosmetic damage, to boxes, packaging or exterior surfaces (including during transit);

  • to damage caused by installer who is not sent from TimeTec;

  • to damage caused by use with another product;

  • to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause;

  • to damage caused by operating the Product outside any guidelines published for use;

  • to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of The Company;

  • to a Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of The Company, including but not limited to installation of custom firmware or other software;

  • to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal ageing of the Product,

  • if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Product,

  • if the product is stolen or The Company reasonably believes that the product is stolen based on information provided by law enforcement authorities, or

  • Where proof of purchase (invoice or paid Order confirmation) cannot be provided.

    9. The Company may seek reimbursement of any costs incurred by us where the Product is found to be in good working order, or when it has been determined that the Standard Warranty and Smart +2 Warranty do not apply.

    10. The Standard and Smart +2 Warranties are transferrable to a new owner of a Product originally purchased from WWW.TIMETECMART.COM, provided The Company is informed by contacting The Company Sales via info@timeteccloud.com within 7 days of the date of transfer.

    11. To the full extent permitted by law:

    The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage or alterations to third party hardware, software, programs, data and/or information stored on any media or any part of the Product, no matter how occurring; or for any loss or damage arising from loss of use, loss of profits or revenue, or for any resulting indirect or consequential loss or damage.

    The Company’s aggregate liability in respect of all claims under Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product or, at The Company’s option, replacement of the Product with a like or similar Product.

    The Company excludes all other warranties, conditions, terms, representations and undertakings whether express or implied.

    12. Insofar as they apply to warranties relating to products supplied by The Company, these Smart +2 Terms and Conditions are governed by and must be construed according to the law of Malaysia and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia.

    13. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Malaysian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
